Giltrap Group

Our work with Giltrap Group spans its Motorsport identity and the Starship Supercar Show, drawing on the group’s motoring heritage and its connection to New Zealand’s automotive community.

For Giltrap Group Motorsport, we created an identity inspired by New Zealand’s racing history and Giltrap’s own motoring legacy. At its centre is a custom kiwi illustration, shaped to suggest movement through a streamlined silhouette. The mark brings a distinctly New Zealand character to the identity, giving the familiar national symbol a sharper motorsport expression.

The design balances that heritage with a contemporary approach, creating a clear, recognisable emblem that connects Giltrap’s history with its continuing involvement in racing.

For the Starship Supercar Show, we developed an event identity centred on a motoring shield and a silhouette of the McLaren Speedtail, the featured car. A wider family of car silhouettes extended the design across showcase areas, bringing a playful, consistent character to the event.

The identity carried through to limited-edition car cards and illustrated maps, helping visitors explore the collection across multiple levels. Bringing together enthusiasts in support of Starship Children’s Hospital, the sold-out event raised $200,000.
